Upon graduation from the John Marshall Law School in 1996, Paul served as a staff attorney, assigned to seven judges through the Office of the Chief Judge, Cook County, Illinois. In this capacity, he provided legal recommendations and prepared legal memorandum for judges. Paul then accepted a position as an Assistant State's Attorney in the Lake County State's Attorney's Office located in Waukegan, Illinois. During his employment, Paul handled all matters from traffic court to felony matters, including many bench and jury trials. Paul then left the Lake County State's Attorney's Office in 2002 and began his own law firm. He has been practing law for 15 years.
Paul concentrates his law practice in the area of guardianship, juvenile law, including both abuse and neglect as well as juvenile delinquency, criminal law, including traffic, DUI, misdemeanor and felony matters. Paul also handles family law matters including adoption, divorce, child custody, parentage, child support and is a court approved family mediator.
